I purchased my new home from Veranda Homes LLC March

Veranda Homes is also building homes at the Waterford Development veranda junk at waterford
Since my purchase I have had numerous problems with water leaks,
drywall screws popping through the drywall,
front door frame not square, sliding patio door frame not square, my
concrete patio cracked 30 days after it was poured and they refuse to
fix it-no expansion joint between the house slab and patio slab, and my
poured
concrete slab on ground foundation has 5 cracks on the floor surface(
and 11
vertical on the outside between start of siding and ground level.)
ranging in
size from hairline to one that is ¼ inch wide.I compained to Dan Seibert the builder directly and through
the BBB he belongs to. He told me this is
normal and has not looked at any of the cracks. I feel it is poor quality, workmanship and lack of supervision.
I told him this was not acceptable and wanted a strucural
engineer to evaluate my home as was suggested to me buy a building
codes
consultant with the State of North Carolina-he refused. In fact Dan
Seibert did not have a North Carolina contractors license, only Robert
Exum of Veranda Homes LLC had the license and he was no where to be
found durring construction.
The quality sucks.
