Our Bible

W

e Believe: Lutherans share a common confession centered in the Gospel:

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whosoever

believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. ”(John 3:16)

It is in the congregation that Jesus Christ gathers His people around

God’s Holy Word; to hear it proclaimed, to study it, to proclaim it

in worship. In Holy Baptism, God claims each child, young or

old, as a member of His family, calling them by name into His

kingdom. In Holy Communion, Christ is truly present in

the bread and wine, given to His people to eat and drink,

for the forgiveness of sins, for life and for salvation.
