The first night we said goodbye to Darkhorse, leaving the Powonga Tribe with 4 members. After the Tribal Council I entered the perimeter of the Tribe Camp and tried to get an idea of the strategy. Mapping.

I soon discovered that mapping was crucial to both tribes that night, but how to do it. Neither tribe wanted to broadcast their e-mail address to the entire Fed Universe. The issue was worked out, which left the question of who had the better map?

Satinsheets was spotted on very late, mapping the planet. She held the title of the longest person on the planet. But soon, I was feeling tired, and I sat down to write on the event's of day one. Which brings us to day two, and thus:

Episode 2

Camp of Powonga Tribe

Shaded by a thick canopy of emerald above, the campsite is shaded from the sun. Wind stirs the tops of these trees, light filtering down creating patterns; the only form of entertainment. At the base of thestime

e trees thick foliage grow in tangled messes. This forms the home for those who live as survivors. A rocky cliff to the southeast protects the area slightly from easterly winds, and has a dark opening to the southeast, while other trails enter the forest to the east and west, and short trail goest to the ocean to the south.

Aylisa shaves her legs.

Aylisa puts up the big square censor square.

Eenigma chuckles

Aylisa smiles, "Hey you guys are lucky, only have to deal with one girl"

It appears I have stumbled in on daily hygine time for the camp tribe of Powonga, yet to my pleasure I had only caught the tale end and it was quickly switched over to ghost stories. Bsacarl enchanted the tribe, and the audience with his twisted tale, as did Eenigma. That is, until the camera went out of control in the middle of the story. The problem was quickly fixed and we were back on the air just as

Eenigma says, "The end."

"That was, just freaky.", says Rasal.

"It's odd how 'near death' stories are spookier than 'actual death' stories", says Eenigma.

I decided right then that I was glad I missed it, as a chill ran through my body.

The tribe was obviously bored, and quickly running out of things to do. If you know Rasal, it was no surprise that he was the first to come up with a perverse idea for entertainment.

"Hmm, I'm gonna go streak through the other camp.", says Rasal with a wink.

Eenigma chuckles

Bsacarl laughs

"See if I can't scare some of the competition to death. Or kill them with laughter.", says Rasal with a wink.

Needless to say, I was traumatized and quickly moved to the other tribe. One of the members of the tribe was missing, and it was twelve minutes until the challenge time.

Camp of Tikchaka Tribe

A large towering granite slab protrudes out of the damp ground, and leans over creating a protected shelter. Tropical trees with dark emerald leaves surround this sanctuary, decorated with olive vines that drape down from the branches and sway in the chilling evening wind. Between the leaves above, the sky slowly turns colors, until it reaches a dim cobalt dusk. Trails leave the camp to the southeast and southwest.

"Still missing Chewie", says Megadude.

The tribe appeared confused on what exactly was expected from them. Were they to go on? Was Chewbacon to be disqualifed?

It was at this time that Macnbc; the host of Survivor, made the rounds to the camps to announce the challenge of the day.

"Greetings Tikchaka Tribe!", smiles Macnbc.

Before he actually sat down to business, he asked Chewbacon if he had been hit with a rock yet. (As Danny hoped in his Player Anyalze.) Megadude volunteered eagerly, and then realized the power he had at the time. Megadude, still upset by Danny's words about Texas, offered a bribe. "I hit Chewbacon with a rock, you leave Texas alone." Both parties agreed, and we got back to our game.

One of the other fads which hit the island was advertising. Satinsheets can the first day in full Darkshadow gear. Her sponser the second day, was none other than Federation's fastest growing religion.

Day 2 by First Dannitarian Church! Satinsheets is here.

Macnbc announced that the next challenge would begin in 15 minutes at the shuttle landing area. All members of the tribe must be there. Chewbacon had not received the instructions and some how he would have to be at the Shuttle landing area on time.

"Y'all run-ahead, I'll wait," Megadude volunteered, "If he's not here in 5 minutes, I'm leaving"

Heavensent decided to take a different path, and told the group that she would see them at the landing area. It wasn't soon before she changed her mind and decided to follow Megadude to make sure her map was correct. The tribe made sure everyone knew how to get to the starting site, or that everyone had a guide. Just then, Chewbacon showed up, and they were off.

Both tribes showed up on time, and Macnbc started the challenge by asking for the idol back. As Megadude handed it back, he frowned, as Macnbc held it over his head and announced.

"It's back up for grabs"

Trail through the woods

The trail through the woods appears to continue to the east, but you are stopped from going in that direction by the thick brambles ahead. The sand is soft underfoot and palm fronds sway gently in the breeze. Once you tire of the view, you may head back down the trail towards the beaches.

A gorgously swirled conch seashell lies in the sand but suddenly moves..

The players were told the secret code to enter the official starting location, and all managed to enter. Yet once again we lost a player.

"uh-oh", says Chewbacon.

Forest Maze

You're on a winding path that heads deeper into the lush green forest. A misty rainfall has started and several

creatures have come out of their hiding places to enjoy it.

You stop to look at the variety of animals and see small monkeys and many beautifully colored birds with flashy plumes of purple, blue, and green feathers.

You notice among all the other animals a small, brown, fuzzy creature with black rings down its lengthy tail, and big pointy ears with tufts of fur on the tips. It looks like nothing you've ever seen before. You continue staring at it and it returns your gaze with what you think could possibly be a smile. The instant you blink, it's gone. You're left to wonder about your sanity as you try to figure out which of the six paths to take deeper into the forest.

Macnbc quickly went to drag Chewbacon to the correct location and came back to describe the challenge.

"That's right folks... another maze! Your objective is to travel.. as a group.. to the center of the maze.

"At the center will be two immunity idols, one red, one brown. Your objective is to get your team's idol. Return here with your entire tribe. First tribe back wins."

Rasal quickly declared himself leader of Powonga, as Satinsheets who confused she had all ready found the maze would lead Tikachaka to success.

"Survivors ready?", asks Macnbc.

The Survivor's answered back in various forms of enthusiasm. Soon enough they had begun moments after Macnbc yelled "GO."

What happened next could only be described as the biggest surprise of the show to this point. Both tribes ran the same route, side by side. Jabbing elbows, diving, tumbles. All arrived to the idols at the same time, Chewbacon swept up his idol and left before his team realized that he got it, and then went on without him. Both tribes arrived back within seconds of each other. It was so confusing, so fast, no one knew who won. Except for Macnbc that is.

Enigma had fetched the idol first, and the entire Powonga tribe was back before Tikchaka. Giving them a win, and immunity. They were given the immunity idol, and went back to their camp feeling secure in their survive. Until tomorrow that is.

I snuck out and ran to the Tikchaka Camp to witness the loosing as they team arrive.

Horribly depressed, Megadude has just arrived.

Hugs were given to all, and words of encouragement. None as true as Satinsheets, who's words seemed to uplift the moral of her tribe.

"Well gang, at least we didn't get slaughtered like Powonga did last night."

Through the conversation about their loss, they were stunned with how short the challenge was.

"I thought it would be much much further", says Heavensent.

Satinsheets says, "I thought it was gonna be more hidden..."

I took this time before Tribal Council to call on Satin and interview her. Satin had just lined up her third day supporter, Honshu. She accepted and I it was down to business.

"Satin, you were the self-proclaimed leader of the maze run. How does it feel to come back with out the idol? Will you be worried about tonight."

"Well I was surprised that the idols were found so quickly...I didn't even see them sitting there!" Satinsheet's offered, "And of course I am worried about tonight...but that's why we have tequila and a blender"

In a brief and mostly unproductive interview with Chewbacon, I discovered that members of the tribe had spoken about who would be voted off, and they had agreed on one. He said he would follow through with that commitment. He also mentioned that he was not worried about his security at council - despite his taking the idol and leaving his tribe.

Roslyn pretty much summed up the general feeling of the camp, "Nope...I dont' want to vote against my tribal mates"

She did.

Main Council Area

A feeling of suspense is tangible here. Dramatic totem poles surround this circular area, looking menacing in the

light of the fire that burns in the center of the area. Torches placed around the council clearing enhance the lighting, creating dancing figures on the trees outside. Only flattened tree stumps serve as chairs here, where Survivors will make the critical decision. Who must leave the game?

A small trail made up of wooden planks heads southwest to the voting area. While trails to the west and south lead back to the tribal camps, another trail winds back to the the southeast and the shuttle area for those who are voted to leave and a another trail is to the northwest from whence a camera man comes buckling his belt.

It was noticed that Chewbacon happened to arrive last for council as well, three out of three.

"Now this is your first council... so let's settle into it. There's just a couple of things I'm curious about after watching ya'll... Does anybody here see any leaders developing in the group?"

Chewbacon says, "Mega did the leading last night, Satin did tonight"

Satinsheets says, "I think everyone's on equal terms though...ready to do their share if its their strength"

"Satin... right now you're the center of attention it seems... you're still holding a heavy lead on the website poll... Danny has a good number of bets going for you, and you spent a long time yesterday mapping for your tribe", says Macnbc.

Satin responded, "No Pressure."

"Do you think any of this may influence the vote tonight?", asked Macnbc.

"No, I think that more hinges on last night than today", said Satinsheets.

Macnbc asks, "Does anybody here feel at risk tonight?"

Heavensent does

Roslyn nods

It was Chewbacon who admitted too not feeling worried, but lacked a reason. Then, the rules were explained, and voting began.

Council Voting area

The trail of planks ends at a small table. On the table are only three objects. A large pencil, some strips of paper, and a pot with a lid on it. It is at this table where the most critical decisions in the game are made. Four torches on poles flank the table providing illumination.

This is where it is decided who will continue to play, and who will be forced to leave. Once you are finished voting, you may return to the main council area to the northeast.

Horribly depressed, Megadude has just arrived.

Megadude cast a vote, as did Satin, followed by Roslyn.

Heavensent entered, and declared, "I don't want to vote for anyone," she did, as did those before her.

Chewbacon arrived, said that he would not forget his tribes talk, and voted accordingly.

The survivor's returned, and it was time to tally the votes. Satinsheets, had brought her comfort item on the island, her blender. After allowing everyone to hug it, and Megadude to kiss it, Macnbc opened the first vote.

"First vote... Chewbacon" - Much to the delight of the audience.

"Heavensent"

"Satinsheets."

Satinsheets reaches for her blender.

"Heavensent", says Macnbc.

"Hevensent"

"Heaven... I'm afraid that your time's up."

Heavensent nods

Macnbc takes down Heavensent's torch and puts it out

"The tribe has spoken.", says Macnbc.

With that, Heavensent turned to her tribe.

"Good luck Tikchaka", smiles Heavensent.

Satinsheets says, "Good luck to you, Heaven..."

With that the remaining members of the Tikchaka tribe returned to camp.

Heavensent smiles, "Well, I was in this to meet people and I think I met some very nice people, I'm happy"

Heavensent says, "I didn't have a chance to contribute much, no I wasn't [surprised at being voted off]"

"What surprised you about Federation Survivor?" I asked.

"It's so much like the Televison show.", says Heavensent.

"Tribal Council is very depressing", says Heavensent.

Well, as we watched Heavensent leave Pulautiga, I quickly ran for Chez Diesel for the Post Game Discussion.

Chez Diesel (Social Center of the Solar System)

A haven from the rough spaceport outside, this exclusive bar is quite the trendiest place to be, catering for all

species so long as they dress well. People come here as much for the company as for the food and drink.

The room buzzes with conversation and laughter. Alert waitdroids bustle around making sure the customers' needs are fulfilled.

The walls are lined with large leafy plants, providing lots of secluded alcoves for private groups. The center of the room is dominated by an ornate fountain, gushing pink water up into the ceiling.

In the background a four-armed Arcturian pianist quietly plays requests.

A battered honky-tonk piano sits in the corner.

Diesel leans casually against the wall, baseball bat swinging idly to and fro.

Yvan eht nioj. Danny is here.

Surviving being a host, Macnbc is here.

"Welcome to the Survivor post-game analysis with our Official Survival Expert Danny!", exclaims Macnbc, "So Danny... what is your take on the council tonight?"

"Chewie got lucky. He paid someone.", smiles Danny.

Macnbc asks, "With no money?"

Danny says, "Ok...er...promised to pay someone later."

Danny says, "I'd have voted for him."

Macnbc asks, "Have any adjustments to make to your game plan for tomorrow night?"

Danny smiles, "Depends on the challenge. If it's mental, Chewie's got the axe."

"If it's physical, I have no idea.", says Danny.

Macnbc asks, "Do you see anybody who has surprised you so far?"

Danny says, "Megadude. He's taken somewhat of the lead, and Satin hasn't had him eliminated yet."

Danny smiles, "I figured she'd be the Richard of the group."

"Still betting against Satin?", asks Macnbc.

"Eventually, yes.", says Danny.

Macnbc says, "OK.. last question for the night.."

"Will Chewie kill Mega for that rock throwing eventually?", asks Macnbc.

Danny smiles, "Hopefully, it will go the other way. And as soon as he's off, Chewie will try to kill me."

"That much is certain.", says Macnbc.

Danny takes center stage and takes a bow.

Macnbc smiles, "Well that's it for the challenge-council hour of Federation Survivor tonight.. we'll see everybody back same time tomorrow! Survivor will be stationed on the planet overnight for those who want to watch!"

"G'night folks", says Macnbc.

So end's another night on Pulau Tiga. Who will leave next? Who will be the ultimate survivor? Only time will tell, until next time.
