Let me thank you for your interest in Youth Shooting.
C Action Gunsports was formed in December 2001 as Boy Scout Venturing Crew 223 to provide young men and women in our area an opportunity to learn basic marksmanship and firearms safety. The Crew grew into C Action Gunsports (CAG), an NRA Youth shooting sports group in order to serve a greater number of the youth in our area. Crew 223 has remained the core of CAG, offering teens the values and leadership opportunities of the Boy Scouts of America. Basic firearm safety is the cornerstone of CAG's mission. Combining that philosophy with the self-discipline needed to become competent marksmen is the end goal. This goal, combined with the fundamentals of the Boy Scouts of America, will help build young men and women into solid citizens and strong leaders. As with all volunteer organizations we can always use a hand, so I welcome any and all comments you may have, and invite you to any of our meetings or events.
